I have recently downloaded and installed Opera version 8 (beta), and this browser displays my test pages as intended, if anything I would say it makes an even better job than FF. Seems to confirm all the general web grumbling about IE's "lack of standards support".
It will be interesting to see what, if anything, improved in this area with the forthcoming IE 7...
BTW, I still prefer the Firefox 'User Experience' so I don't think I will be changing my default browser again anytime soon.
