The SV was in the shop today to try and find out the cause of the problems I have been having with the clutch... Seems it's the clutch 'slave cylinder' that has failed, they have ordered a replacement and it will take a couple of days to arrive.
However it seems that it may be covered by the manufacturers warranty, so it may not actually cost me anything... here's hoping
