Got into the see the dentist at 14:30, left at 16:15 complete with a sore mouth, 9 stitches, a chunk of metal in my upper jaw bone and £800 pound lighter...
There was no pain involved with the surgery, although there was a fair amount of 'rough treatment' with pushing, pulling and drilling. As the anesthetic started to wear off, my mouth felt very sore, but a 400mg Ibuprofen and an ice-pack soon put paid to that.
Not tried to eat anything yet... may may wait another few hours before I work up the nerve to try!
